The Summer Intensive is designed for participants to experience the entire Relational Culture Training Series over two weeks, including Bonding, Embodying, and Bridging, with one-day breaks (4pm-4pm) between each training (participants will have the option to stay at The Watershed Center during the breaks). You may also apply to attend just one or two of the three trainings taught during the intensive (pre-requisites for Embodying and Bridging must be met). Note that priority will be given to those attending the full Summer Intensive. Use the same application to apply for all or any of the trainings during the Summer Intensive.
The first 4-day module, Bonding, will prepare participants to practice and facilitate Resonance and Storytelling as a first step to spread relational culture within social justice communities, and to come to embody stories of connection in our lives, our bodies and our relationships.
The second 4-day module, Embodying, will prepare participants to practice three baseline embodiment and relational somatics tools designed to foster peer support and cultivate collective healing, generating support to deal with dysregulation, trauma and the impact of systemic oppression as it shows up in our work together.
The third 4-day module, Bridging, will prepare participants to practice three baseline inquiry and dialogue tools designed to maintain a collective commitment to a culture of sustained revision and inclusion that counteracts the dominant culture of supremacy and exclusion. It will also prepare participants to support building the Relational Culture Movement and to help spread a relational ontology.
We highly recommend you attend this trainings in teams from your organization, community or movement. We give priority to teams for admission.
